These are our terms and conditions. These, together with the references they contain, apply to any contract we enter into with you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us via [email protected] or via Instagram. The address (not a visiting address) of Animeaux is Schoolstraat 4A, 2161 HC Lisse with Chamber of Commerce number: 61657018.

We have the right to change these general terms and conditions. You agree that the latest version of these terms and conditions will always apply to our agreement.

Article 1 – Products

We sell aluminum book stands.

Article 2 – Payments

The (total) price of the products is indicated in our webshop. You pay via our online payment service; Mollie provides this payment service. The shipping costs are for your account.

Article 3 – Deliveries

We deliver your product to the address you specified when ordering. You can no longer change the address if we have already sent the package. PostNL takes care of the distribution. When the package has been shipped, you will receive a track & trace code from us, with which you can track the order. We do our best to deliver the order as soon as possible. If the order is delayed, we will notify you in writing. We guarantee that you will receive the order no later than 30 days after confirmation of the order. In the unlikely event that this does not work, you can request us to (a) immediately refund the amount you paid for the product, or (b) send a replacement product (of equal value).

Artikel 4 – Returns

You may always return the product within 14 days after you have received it. You can do this with the return form or by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. After you have received confirmation from us, you must send the product within 14 days. If we have received the product, we will refund the full purchase amount within 14 days and we will pay the costs of the return. We reimburse the costs of the return up to a maximum of €6.50. During the period you have to consider whether you want to keep the product, you must handle the product and the packaging with care. You may only unpack and use the product to the extent necessary to determine whether you want to keep the product. Products that are made to customer specifications (not prefabricated) cannot be returned.

Article 5 – Warranty

We give a 1-year warranty on our book stands. If the product breaks down under normal use and within the warranty period, you are entitled to a replacement product. You must then send the defective product to us in its original packaging. The shipping costs are for your account.

Article 6 – Liability

We are not liable for damage caused by using a product. This does not apply if the damage was caused by our intent, gross negligence or willful recklessness. Your right to compensation will in any case be a maximum of the amount of the ordered and paid product.

Article 7 – Privacy Policy

We protect your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can consult our Privacy Policy for more information.

Article 8 – Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights (such as: copyrights, logos, word marks) to our texts, photos, images and other materials are our property (or are managed by us with the permission of the copyright holder). Your use must not infringe on this.

Article 9 – Complaints procedure

If you have a complaint about the implementation of the agreement, we would like to hear about it. Send your complaint as soon as possible (and describe it as fully as possible) to [email protected]. We will handle your complaint as soon as possible, but no later than 3 days after we have received your complaint. If it takes longer to settle the complaint, you will receive a confirmation of your complaint within 3 days and we will let you know when we expect a substantive answer. If we cannot resolve the complaint mutually, a dispute will arise that falls under the dispute settlement procedure.

Article 10 – Dispute settlement

  1. Dutch law applies to these general terms and conditions and the agreements we conclude with you. In the event of a dispute, the court in Noord-Holland has jurisdiction.
